Time for Eastenders

Trimfit Illustration Project

Last week, hipsters and trend setters alike flocked to Soho to attend the launch of the Brutus Trimfit Illustration Project and again, the team from Space were on hand to see what all the fuss was about. Once we managed to battled our way through the vast queue of freezing fashionable folk, we were able to find out….

The aim of the project was to encourage artists to look at the shirts like a canvas and Brutus selected 12 British artists to draw, paint and print directly onto them resulting in a unique and diverse collection of handmade pieces. From illustrations of London landmarks, Aztec prints and tie-dye there was certainly something for everyone!

Our client Desperados was on hand to supply the drinks whilst illustrator Arran Gregory gave a live art show to provide the backdrop for a night of creativity, fun and a little bit of East London cool thrown into the heart of Soho.
